First thing to do it to cut out the triangle flags and letters. I use the Sizzix Bigshot and Bigz dies to cut out my letter shapes. The flags are cut using the Accuquilt Go! machine and Triangle Isosceles 5x6" die. Then using Fuse-a-web on the back of the letters I iron them into place on the flags and machine sew around each letter.

Trim off the thread ends and with right sides together sew front and back pieces together, I use a 1/8 seam allowance.

Once all flags are sewn together trim the ends and turn inside out.

Then using crochet lace I sew the flags together in a line.

To finish off I sew all flags into a strip of bias binding.
